Check-in days for our five Shepherd Lodges (Willow, Maple, Cedar, Oak and Beech) and the American Airstream are Monday through to Saturday.

Valentines Weekend Special Add-on Package
Fancy treating your loved one to a few days away for some quality time together? Then why not book a 2-night (Shepherd Lodge) or 3-night (Treehouse or Shepherd Lodge) stay over Valentines weekend (Friday 13 – Monday 16 February, inclusive) and add on our Valentines package to enhance your stay:

We are excited to offer for 2026 our new ‘weekend rate’ for Friday check-ins. Our new weekend rates give you access to one of our gorgeous treehouses for the entire weekend, with a flexible self-check in anytime from 4pm on the Friday, and departure anytime up until 10am on the Monday. This means that if you have to get back for work on Monday morning, you can stay and enjoy your weekend for as long as possible on Sunday, having one last dip in the hot tub or another countryside walk before heading home with no rush to check out.

Minimum Stays
We have a 2-night minimum stay. There is a minimum 3-night weekend stay for our treehouses.
Occupancy
* All Treehouses can accommodate up to 2 adults (king size bed) and 3 children (triple bunk bed room) plus an infant in a cot.
* All Shepherd lodges can accommodate 2 adults (king size bed) and up to 2 small children (on a pull out sofa bed). We can accommodate an infant in a cot if you are not using the pull-out sofa bed. There is unfortunately not space for both.
* The American Airstream can accommodate up to 2 people.
Additional Information
All properties are dog friendly (except Buzzard Treehouse and Cedar Shepherd lodge, which we keep pet free)

We take a 25% non-refundable deposit to confirm the booking and the remainder of the balance is due 6 weeks before your stay. You will be emailed a balance reminder.
We welcome large groups. The whole site can accommodate up to 20 adults and 22 children across the 10 properties. If you wish to take the whole site exclusively, please email Kate at kate@dittishamhideaway.co.uk to discuss your requirements further.
