The Ferry Boat Inn occupies an enviable position on the waters edge, at the quay in Dittisham. The Ferry Boat is a traditional and authentic inn with a family-friendly bar and stunning riverside views. The pizzas are exceptionally good for which they also offer a takeaway service.

Rockfish is known for serving the freshest local seafood, landed right on our doorstep at Brixham fishing port. Rockfish was opened in 2010 by renowned Michelin Star chef Mitch Tonks, who believes seafood is best when it’s fresh, local, and cooked simply and expertly.

The Seahorse is an award-winning seafood restaurant, and is known for the warmth and spirit of its atmosphere – as well as its speciality: fresh, locally-caught seafood cooked over an open fire.

A characterful country pub with log burning fireplaces, plenty of old beams and a large outdoor dining terrace. Plenty of parking; the food is freshly prepared with an appealing varied menu to a very high standard. The Sunday carvery lunch is highly recommended. Due to popularity advance booking is essential.

Totnes is just 8 miles (a 20-minute drive) from Dittisham. This beautiful historic town offers many tearooms, health food shops, an organic farm shop, supermarket, Asian cuisine and quaint cafés and artisan shops.
