Directions

At the bottom of the M5, keep right and follow the A38 towards Plymouth. Leave this road at the Buckfastleigh exit, which is also signposted Dartmouth and Totnes, (some Sat Nav’s try and take you off earlier via Newton Abbot, ignore this as it could add an hour to the journey). Follow the signs at Buckfastleigh to Totnes via Dartington. When you arrive in Totnes, take the right turn at the traffic lights for Dartmouth A381 (if you have Sat Nav, ignore it for the nest 5 miles as it may take you via the back lanes which are very narrow!).

You will pass though Harbertonford and after about 5 miles you will arrive in Halwell, where you need to turn left between the church and a pub called the Old Inn. As you go up the hill, you will see a sign on the wall saying Pub Car Park, (blink and you miss it, but don’t worry if you, as it only cuts off a corner and you can just take the next left turn to Dartmouth).

If you do take this small lane, follow it to the top and turn left towards Dartmouth on the A3122. After about 3.5 miles you will arrive at the Sportmans Arms Pub on your left. The main road turns sharp right, but you want to go straight ahead following the sign to Dittisham. After about 1.5 miles, past the turning for Capton, take the left turn to Kingston. The entrance for the Treehouses and Airstream is the first on the right a short way down the lane.
The Shepherds Lodge entrance is the second gate on your right.

Should you decide not to travel to us by car, our nearest Rail station is Totnes Train Station where you can get a taxi from Road Runner Taxi’s 01803 732834 to us here in Dittisham which is approximately a 20 minute drive away.

Our nearest Airport is Exeter Airport.

The closest Bus stop is outside the Sportsmans Arms Pub at Hemborough Post on bus route 92 with Stagecoach, however we are along a country lane 1.7 miles away taking around 35 minutes to walk and not safe.

EBikes are available to hire should you wish to leave the car parked during your stay from E-Xplore Devon and enjoy the greener way to travel.
